Hi, my name is Tammo, I am one of the three founders of RESWITCH and this is the history of our company:
For more than 10 years now, I have been able to and players are involved in helping to Develop. In 2017, in the privileged situation, I was a team in to a junior performance centre in Bavaria. I am aware of many players of this team noticed that they did not situations so quickly and correctly and also takes too long to implement an action. I wondered what it might be.
Already at this time, a lot has been said about speed of action and game intelligence, and these terms explained as the success factors of footballers. The problem is only: that these terms are not yet 100% clearly defined and that there is still a lot of more importantly, there is hardly anyone who can tell you as a coach how to Skills carefully trained.
So In 2017, I asked myself the question:
How can I change the ability of perception, decision-making and action exercising explicitly in training?
The solution to training these skills is so simple, simple and obvious that probably in several hundred years of football no one has come up with it before. We have printed training bodies with different symbols, numbers and letters and can change the teams during a game situation by calling.
Our first tests with a prototype gave us good, it works and coaches from professional, performance and grassroots football regularly said: “Why didn’t I come up with it myself…”
With RESWITCH we have now created a new training tool and a new training method, which allows us coaches to train our players quite explicitly and yet practically in football-specific game and practice forms in the abilities of perception, decision-making and action speed.
What has driven me since the beginning is my inner WHY. Why do we do it? Our reason for this is that we can play a tiny part of the way in which many youth players can be trained even better by their coaches in the future. That’s why we implemented it in such a way that both performance and grassroots sports coaches CAN afford RESWITCH, so that we can ultimately reach as many players as possible.
What makes me proud is that we are not only receiving positive feedback from the coaches, but also the coaches from their players. The reSWITCH appeal makes the training more interesting and demanding than ever before. It’s great that not only the players benefit, but also the coaches themselves, because in the end you are sure to be on the pitch to hear from the players and parents that you enjoy training with you and they are evolving through you.
